I am proud to be a prairie pastor ... I love the
midwestern United States for its people, its landscapes, and the way it grounds
me. Working in Champaign-Urbana, IL I enjoy the intellectual and cultural
advantages of the twin cities flanking the University of Illinois' main
campus. Married to the love of my life, Ed Taylor, I enjoy living on a small acreage just outside his hometown of Gibson City, IL. Homestead life provides me with lots of opportunity to garden, dabble in animal husbandry, and rest on the porch with a mug of hot tea. I love my church, my home, my family and my community (the order changing
hourly). I join the musical group the Weepies in proclaiming, "I was
made for sunny days ..." While grateful for the nourishing
rains and enthralled with the magic of new fallen snow, nothing gets me up and
moving like a blue sky with radiant beams cascading over the surrounding
fields. Wishing you sunny days!
